Srinagar, Aug 05: As part of its ongoing commitment to integrity and transparency, J&K Police today observed the “Day of Resolution for Freedom from Corruption”. Pledge ceremonies were organised at all Police establishments across the Valley where senior police Officers led the officers and officials in taking a solemn pledge to uphold the highest standards of honesty and accountability in public service.According to a statement issued here, in Srinagar, J&K Police observed the integrity pledge ceremony across all its units including District Police Headquarter, District Police Lines, Police Stations and Police Posts. Senior officers administered the oath to all the police personnel across all units of Srinagar Police. In Ganderbal, Police observed the “Day of Resolution for Freedom from Corruption” in all police establishments across the district. The main event was organized at District Police Lines Ganderbal. In Budgam, “Day of Resolution for Freedom from Corruption” was observed across the district. The main event was held at DPO lawns, where SSP Budgam, led officers and officials in taking pledge.In Anantnag, the main function was held at District Police Office, where SP Hqrs Anantnag led the officers and officials in taking a solemn pledge. Similar pledge ceremonies were organized at all police establishments and units across the district. In Pulwama, the oath was administered by DySP Headquarters and DySP DAR to officers and jawans at District Police Office Pulwama and District Police Lines Pulwama. Besides integrity pledge ceremonies were also observed across all police establishments in the district. In Awantipora, the “Day of Resolution for Freedom from Corruption” was observed across the Police district. The main function was held at DPO Awantipora. At District Police Office Sopore, SSP Sopore Iftkhar Talib (JKPS) administered the pledge to officers and personnel. Similar ceremonies were also held at DPL Sopore, Police Stations, and Police Posts. In Handwara, the main event was held at District Police Lines Handwara, where SSP Handwara, Mushtaq Ahmad Choudhary-JKPS, led officers and personnel in taking a solemn pledge.
