Awantipora, Apr 03: The student team from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) secures a spot among the top 12 finalists in the prestigious e-Yantra Innovation Challenge, organized by IIT Bombay.
Out of 20 teams from Jammu and Kashmir, IUST is the only university from the region to qualify for the finals, reaffirming its commitment to innovation and technological excellence. Additionally, IUST served as the regional coordinating institute, hosting workshops and activities to prepare students for the competition.
The finals showcased IUST’s technical competence on a national stage. Vice Chancellor Prof. Shakil Ahmad Romshoo commended the team, stating that this milestone reflects students’ hard work and dedication. He further said that IUST remains committed to nurturing creativity and problem-solving skills at the highest level.
Congratulating the students, IUST e-yantra coordinator, Mr. Syed Mujtiba Hussain said that such achievements help IUST to strengthen its reputation as a hub of research and technological innovation, committed to empowering students for national and international excellence.
