Udhampur, May 08: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson for Jammu and Kashmir and MLA, Udhampur East, Adv Ranbir Singh Pathania on Thursday said India stands tall and united in its fight against terror.
Addressing a gathering at Government Higher Secondary School, Tikri, Pathania lauded the unprecedented coherence and unanimity displayed by all political parties in a meeting in New Delhi.
“Without even a trace of doubt or difference of opinion, the entire political spectrum spoke in one voice. This reflects the maturity of Indian democracy and showcases a unified national will against the menace of terrorism,” he remarked.
Quoting “Shanti ke liye Shakti bhi zaroori hai”, he underscored India’s traditional role as a proponent and propagator of peace, while asserting the country’s right to defend its citizens.
Referring to the recent successful air strikes under ‘Operation Sindoor’, the BJP leader said, “These strategic actions have left the terror networks crippled and confused. They are a clear message that India shall never compromise on the safety and well-being of its people.”
Pathania, according to a statement issued here, was speaking during the inauguration ceremony of a new laboratory block and kindergarten complex under the Atal Tinkering Lab initiative, set to be completed at a cost of Rs 1.80 crore. He said, “Quality education is not a luxury but a basic right, and it is my firm resolve to transform Udhampur East into an exquisite educational hub.”
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the local community. Prominent among those present were Lalita Sharma, Ashish Sharma, Aarti Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Karanbir Singh, Anmol Bandral, Girdharilal Padha, Surinder Singh, Angrez Singh, and a large number of residents and party supporters.
The gathering concluded with spirited chants of “Jai Hind”, “Bharatiya Sena Zindabad”, and “Narendra Modi Zindabad”, echoing the patriotic fervour and unwavering commitment of the people to national unity and development.
