Human Rights Day : PTTI organises debate competition

Vijaypur, Dec 10: Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur today organized a debate competition on the eve of Human Rights Day on the topic “Relevance of Human Rights” in which students of Govt Higher Secondary School Vijaypur and BBN High School Vijaypur participated.
The aim of the competition was to bring awareness about the importance of human rights in society in general and youths in particular, the institute said in a statement. The competition was organized under the supervision of Khalil Ahmed Poswal, SSP, Principal PTTI Vijaypur. Various trainees and students spoke for the motion and against the motion on this occasion.
Ms. Anshav Choudhary, a student of BBN High School Vijaypur, who spoke against the motion was declared 1st, Ms. Koushki Sharma and Ms. Annam Thakur of BBN High School Vijaypur who jointly spoke for the motion and against the motion respectively were declared 2nd, while trainee HC Javed Ahmed declared 3rd in the debate competition.
While speaking on the occasion, Principal PTTI Vijaypur briefed the students and trainees about the importance of human rights. Rajinder Singh Rahi, Vice Principal PTTI Vijaypur presented the vote of thanks on the occasion.
Among others, Satish Kumar, Dy.SP (Admn/Outdoor) and Kuldeep Raj, Dy.SP (Tech.) PTTI Vijaypur, Sanjay Gupta, I/C ZPO GHSS Vijaypur, Harbans Lal, Master GHSS Vijaypur, Teachers of BBN High School Vijaypur Ms. Aparna Slathia and Ms. Priyanka Jamwal and staff and trainees of PTTI Vijaypur were present on the occasion.
