Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday arrived at Technical Airport Jammu to take stock of the recent disaster that struck Jammu and Kashmir.
J&K BJP LoP Sunil Sharma and other BJP leaders received Union Home Minister Amit Shah at Technical Airport Jammu.
Sunil Sharma said Shah’s visit reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “strong commitment” to the people of the region during this challenging time.
“The Central Government is fully prepared to provide every possible support, including manpower, machinery, and financial assistance, for relief, restoration, and rehabilitation,” he said.
He said the Modi Government stands firmly with the people of Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring swift measures are being taken to address the losses and hardships caused by the calamity.
Shah is expected to chair a high-level meeting with the J&K administration and review the ongoing relief and restoration efforts.
