Srinagar, Oct 25: Chairman Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) and former minister, Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen has extended warm greetings to the people on the occasion of the annual Urs of Peer Dastgeer, Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA), being observed on Thursday.
In his message, Hakeem urged everyone to follow the footsteps of Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA). He said that the teachings and practices of Hazrat Peer Dastageer (RA) provide the guidance needed to overcome the evils and tribulations of the present times.
The PDF chairman highlighted that Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA) was a revered saint of the highest order. He emphasized that the teachings of Hazrat Peer Dastageer (RA) exemplify righteousness, compassion, and mutual coexistence.
