Govt revises rates of poultry, poultry products

Srinagar, Dec 02: The Directorate of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir has revised the rate list for chicken and egg products.
An order issued by the department said, “In the suppression of all previous notification issued on the subject and in the exercise of all powers conferred upon Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Kashmir hereby revise and re-fix the maximum rate of poultry products”.
As per the new rate list, the broiler chicken rate has been fixed at Rs 100 per kg. Parent chicken will be sold at Rs 120 per kg and the rate for eggs has been fixed at Rs 72 per dozen.
