Srinagar, Nov 02: The Health Department has imposed a transfer freeze requiring approvals for any essential reassignments, pending the implementation of a new transfer policy aimed at enhancing patient care.
The move comes on the directives issued by the Minister for Health and Medical Education during a review meeting held on October 29.
The health department in an order issued on Saturday said no transfers, deployments, or attachments of staff should be undertaken, nor should any such cases be processed until the Transfer Policy is implemented by the government.
