GMC Anantnag constitutes grievance cell for effective healthcare services

Anantnag, May 09: The new Principal of Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag has implemented the first relief measure for patients and attendants by setting up a Grievance Redressal Cell to ensure effective delivery of healthcare services in GMC and its associated hospitals.
Prof (Dr) Rukhsana Najeeb has issued an order to establish the Grievance Redressal Cell, aiming to facilitate smooth patient care and efficient healthcare service delivery in GMC Anantnag and its associated hospitals.
The Grievance Redressal Cell is constituted under the chairpersonship of the Principal GMC to enquire and dispose of public grievances or complaints received, if any, the order reads.
Dr Muzafar Sherwani, Medical Superintendent, Mirza Mohammad Afzal Beigh Memorial- Associated Hospital (MMABM-AH); Dr Wani Shahid Hussain, Dy Medical Superintendent, Maternity and Child Care Hospital – Associated Hospital (M&CCH-AH); Dr Tajali Nazir Shora, Incharge Rural Health Training Center (RHTC) Sagam; and Dr Irfa Naqasbandi, Incharge Urban Health Training Center (UHTC) Brakpora, will serve as members of the grievance cell.
To facilitate the grievance redressal process, the GR-Cell can be contacted through the following contact numbers: MMABM-AH Janglatmandi (7006049485/9906716247/9419027923/7889685941); for MCCH-AH Sherbagh (9419940009); for RHTC Sagam (9906998600); and for UHTC Brakpora (7889532959).
According to the order, the grievances can be forwarded via email to [email protected].
