Pulwama, June 07: In a remarkable achievement that has brought pride and joy to the entire Pulwama district, Sidra Mukhtar, a student of Government Higher Secondary School in Arihal, has secured the second position in the arts stream in the recently announced 12th class examination results. This accomplishment has brought Sidra into limelight and she is seen as source of inspiration for students across the region.

Speaking to Rising Kashmir at her home in the serene village of Arihal, Sidra attributed her success to the unwavering support and guidance of her teachers and parents.

“I worked diligently for the exams, but I never imagined I would be among the top rank holders,” she said with a humble smile. Sidra shared that she dedicated the early morning hours to her studies, a time she found most conducive to focus and consistency. Her teachers and parents played a crucial role in helping her manage exam stress and stay motivated.

The news of Sidra’s remarkable performance sparked celebrations across Arihal.

Her home became a hub of joy as neighbours and well-wishers visited in large numbers to congratulate her. The Principal of Government Higher Secondary School, Mohammad Ashraf, along with his staff, personally visited Sidra’s residence to commend her for her exceptional achievement.

The Principal lauded Sidra’s success as a milestone for the school, expressing his pride in his dedicated teaching staff.

“This is not just a proud moment for our school but for the entire district. Sidra, coming from a modest background and achieving such a high rank without any coaching classes, is truly inspiring,” he said.
