Customers of Jammu and Kashmir Bank have expressed frustration over frequent disruptions in digital banking services, including online banking, net banking, and the M-Pay Delight app.
Many users have complained that they are unable to access these services, causing inconvenience, especially as Eid approaches.
Speaking to Rising Kashmir, a bank official acknowledged the ongoing technical issues but clarified that they are part of a major system upgrade. “The disruptions occur only during night hours, from 1 AM to 3 AM, and customers were informed in advance,” the official stated. The upgrade is expected to last a week, aiming to enhance digital banking services before Eid.
However, many customers have refuted the bank’s claim, stating that they are experiencing service outages even during the day. “It’s not just a night-time issue. The M-Pay Delight app hardly works, and online banking transactions fail frequently,” said a customer from Srinagar.
The bank official also pointed to poor mobile and internet connectivity in certain areas as a possible reason for difficulties in accessing services. “From our end, there is no disruption during the daytime. However, customers in areas with weak internet coverage may face issues,” he added.
As Eid approaches, customers are urging the bank to resolve these issues swiftly, ensuring a smooth banking experience for everyone.
