A man was swept away by flashfloods while crossing over a river in Poonch, officials said.
They told that Maqbool Hussain son of Kalla Hussain resident of Mohalla Kannas, Jhullas was crossing a river along with a cattle herd when flashfloods hit and swept him away.
“Soon after the incident, a rescue operation was started by the army with assistance of the locals to locate the person”, they said adding “No trace of him has been found as of now.” (GNS)
