Baltal, July 01 : Showcasing exemplary devotion , Anand Singh, a devotee from Jaipur, has become an inspiring figure for many with his unwavering faith and determination. Despite losing both legs in a tragic accident over a decade ago, Singh has not let his disability hinder his devotion. For the past 13 years, he has undertaken the arduous yatra to the holy cave to seek blessings from the revered Shivalingam.
Each year, Singh travels the challenging path towards the holy cave of Amarnath, relying on dandies (palkis) for more than half of the journey. His spirit and eagerness to perform the yatra remain undeterred, driven by his deep faith and devotion to Baba Barfani.
“It is the faith that gives me courage to make this journey every year,” Singh said, expressing his commitment to the pilgrimage that has become a testament to his resilience and spirituality.
Singh’s journey has become a source of inspiration for many, showing that with faith and determination, physical limitations can be overcome. His story highlights the power of devotion and the human spirit’s capacity to triumph over adversity.
