Srinagar, Aug 02: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and DDC Member Srinagar, Er Aijaz Hussain, organised a free medical camp and refreshment facility for mourners in Dal, Srinagar.The initiative aimed to provide timely medical assistance and basic health checkups to participants of the Muharram procession, he said in a statement issued here.A dedicated medical team was present to attend to any health concerns, while refreshments were distributed to offer comfort and relief to the mourners.”Er Aijaz Hussain has been consistently organising such camps across various Shia-majority areas, reflecting his deep commitment to public welfare. Over the past several days, he has conducted a series of medical and support camps in different localities to serve the community during Muharram observances,” the statement said.Workers of the Lal Chowk Constituency actively participated in the camp, ensuring smooth coordination and service delivery. Those present included Constituency President Umer Shafi, Vice President Mehraj U Din, Secretary Adil Ahmad, Executive Member Sartaj Ahmad, along with dedicated workers Faizan Ahmad, Farooq Ahmad, and Zahid Ahmad. “Their presence and voluntary service were instrumental in the success of the camp,” the BJP leader said.Er Aijaz added, “Muharram is a time of deep reflection, sacrifice, and spiritual strength.
