EPFO celebrates Int’l Women’s Day in Srinagar, Jammu, Ladakh

Srinagar, Mar 09: Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) India Regional Office Jammu, Srinagar and Ladakh celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8, 2024, with great enthusiasm and fervour.
The programme was inaugurated by Rizwan ud Din, Regional P F Commissioner for Jammu and Ladakh, at the Jammu office, with a commitment to foster a supportive work environment for women.
During the event, V Pratima, A/O, and Nusrat Fatima, SS, spoke about the significance of inclusion and diversity in the workplace, stressing the importance of eliminating gender discrimination in all spheres of life. They emphasized the empowerment of women and encouraged sisterhood by creating a safe space for women to engage, collaborate, and support each other.
The event featured motivational speeches by participants under the theme of ‘Investing in Women: Accelerate Progress’. This was followed by cake cutting, lunch for staff members, and the distribution of gifts to women employees. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, EPFO India expressed its wish for a world where all forms of discrimination against women come to an end, and every individual enjoys equal rights.
