Chandigarh, Mar 04: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Monday said that for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire nation was a family.
In a statement issued here, he said, “Unlike many opposition leaders trying to promote nepotism, PM Modi had owned up to the people coming from divergent sections and classes as his family.”
Chugh said all the welfare schemes launched by the Prime Minister are targeted at his family as a nation. “At a time when all senior leaders in the Opposition led by the Gandhi family are prompting their personal families, the Prime Minister has set a unique example of adopting the nation as his family,” he said.
“The agenda of the entire opposition would be exposed in days to come and to establish how the prime minister has defeated divisive forces to build the entire nation as a family,” the BJP leader said.
