Educate public about welfare schemes of Modi govt: Dev to BJP workers

Jammu: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta, has affirmed the readiness of the BJP to participate in Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and Panchayat elections in the region.
His statement came during a one day seminar of Local and Urban Bodies of Jammu District North organized by BJP Urban and Local Bodies Convenor and ex-MLA Shiv Dev Singh at Roop Nagar, here on Thursday.
Co-Convenor Pawan Singh, Zila Pradhan Omi Khajuria, ex- Corporators namely Surinder Sharma (Ward 38), Sunita Gupta (Ward 37), Mohinder Bhagat (Ward 61), Kuldeep Singh Chib (Ward 63), Rakha Manhas (Ward 62), Ashok Singh (Ward 59), Yashpal Sharma (Ward 35), Tripta Devi (Ward 66), Subash Sharma (Ward 36) besides Dharamvir Singh Jamwal, Rupesh Mengi (Janipur Mandal president) and Suresh Khaujua (Paloura Muthi Mandal President) were present on the occasion.
Kavinder Gupta urged party leaders with significant responsibilities at different levels to intensify their activities in preparation for the upcoming ULB and Panchayat elections, emphasizing the party’s full readiness for these electoral contests.
During the gathering, Shiv Dev Singh outlined various upcoming programs aimed at enhancing outreach to the masses at the grassroots level.
Shiv Dev Singh encouraged party leaders and members to educate the public about various welfare schemes and assist them in accessing benefits from social security programs initiated by the Union Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
He called for increased efforts in organizational expansion and reaching out to the masses during party events and public welfare initiatives.
