Dushyant Singh to lead Indian men’s U-21 volleyball team in FIVB World Championship

Bahrain, July 05: The Indian Men’s U-21 Volleyball Team is geared up for the highly anticipated FIVB Volleyball Men’s U-21 World Championship, scheduled to take place in Bahrain from July 7th to 16th, 2023. In a press note released today, Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta, Member of Parliament and President of the Volleyball Federation of India, expressed his support for the team and extended his best wishes for their quest to clinch a medal in the championship.
The Indian team, carefully chosen for this prestigious event, will be led by Dushyant Singh from Rajasthan, a recipient of the esteemed “Best Blocker of Asia Award.” Singh’s exceptional skills and leadership abilities make him the ideal captain for the Indian Men’s Team.
The following players have been selected to represent the Indian Men’s U-21 Volleyball Team: Dushyant Singh (Captain), Bharanidharan, Sandeep, Md Razza, Sameer Chaudhary, Tanish Choudhary, Harshit Giri, Aman Kumar, Sachin Dagar, Karthikeyan. K (L), Ajeet Shekho, Yougank Baliyan
Accompanying the players will be a team of experienced officials: G E Sridharan (Head Coach), Rajesh Kumar (Assistant Coach), Praveen Kumar Sharma (Assistant Coach), Jayakumar Nadarajan (Manager), Dr. Digvijay Singh Rathore (Physiotherapist)
The Indian Men’s U-21 Volleyball Team is set to depart for Bahrain on July 5th, 2023, via Delhi. Their preparations have been backed by the unwavering support of Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta, ensuring a well-organized coaching camp and creating an environment conducive to success. The team aims to make their mark in the FIVB World Championship and make India proud on the international stage.
