Srinagar, Mar 21: Director School Education Kashmir, Dr G.N Itoo today kick started a mega plantation drive across all the schools of Kashmir division by planting seedlings at High School Chowgund Verinag Anantnag during the culmination event of ensuing Grand Enrolment Drive 2025.
Speaking on the occasion, he stated that during ongoing special enrolment drive in Kashmir valley more than 50,000 students have been enrolled since the reopening of schools.
Itoo emphasized the department’s commitment to ensure maximum student enrolment, particularly in far-flung areas, where the drive will continue.
Additionally, he informed that career counselling sessions for Class 11 students are being conducted across schools to guide them in making informed subject choices for their higher studies.
Addressing the students and local community, Dr. Itoo outlined various initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of education in government schools. He stressed that the department remains dedicated to creating a more robust and student-friendly learning environment.
