Dr Vikas urges youth to stay away from drugs

Jammu, Nov 24: National Conference leader Dr Vikas Sharma has urged the youth of Jammu & Kashmir to stand up and vigorously launch a fight against the menace of drugs to eradicate it completely.
Dr Vikas, who is Secretary JKNC Central Zone (Jammu, Samba & Kathua), was addressing a gathering of youth. He asked the youth to stay away from the menace of drugs to make our society free from this evil.
“The neighbouring state of Punjab is reeling under the menace of drugs but we should not let the same thing happen in Jammu-Kashmir. The anti-national forces are hell-bent on destroying our youth but we will not let this happen here,” he said in a statement.
The NC leader urged the youth to stay away from the menace of drugs and adopt a healthy way of life by using their raw energy in constructive activities like sports, studies etc. “If we get up and resolve together to eradicate this menace then no power on earth can stop us,” he said.
He also asked the government to launch a tirade against the people who were smuggling drugs and trapping the youth in their net.
