Srinagar, Oct18: Renowned surgeon, Dr Sajjad Hussain received the prestigious Fellowship award on 14th Convocation of EndoSurg AIIMS in ceremony held at All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi.
He was also awarded the ‘ Certificate of Merit’ in the art and Science of Laparoscopic Surgery, in the Convocation.
Leading surgeons of the country and abroad participated in the most Prestigious and Glorious conference of AIIMS, conducted by Department of Surgical Disciplines.
The Convocation was inaugurated by Member of Parliament of New Delhi, Mrs Bansuri Swaraj, Director of AIIMS , Prof M Srinavasan, Prof Sunil Chambal- head of Department of Surgery, Gems of Surgeons of India including Prof S D Maurya, Prof M C Mishra, Prof S Padma Kumar, beside leading International and National Surgeons.
Robotic Surgery training with Da Vinci Xi and Hugo RA systems were also imparted in the 4 days EndoSurg Conference of AIIMS , along with 17th National conference of Society of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of India, beside Cadeveric workshops and expert panel discussions and live operative workshops.
