Dr Sachidananda Mohanty appointed as executive director AIIMS Awantipora, Kashmir

The Government of India on Wednesday has appointed Prof. Dr Sachidananda Mohanty as executive director of AIIMS Awantipora, Kashmir.

As per the order issued by GOI, “The Appointments Committee of Cabinet(ACC) has approved the appointment of Dr Sachidananda Mohanty, who has also served medical superintendent AIIMS Bhubaneswar, as executive director of AIIMS, Awantipora.”

“The ACC has also cancelled the appointment of Lt Gen Anup Banerjee as executive director, AIIMS Awantipora, on order basis”, it said.

The order reads that Appointment of following candidates, with a mode of recruitment indicated against their names, to the posts of Executive Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Level 15 of the Pay Matrix, for a period of 03 years w.e.f. the date of assumption of charge of the post, or till attaining the age of 70 years, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
