Dr Farooq greets people on Urs Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah (RA)

Srinagar, Jul 05: National Conference (NC) president Dr Farooq Abdullah on Saturday extended heartfelt greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of the annual Urs of Hazrat Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah (RA), being observed on July 5 and 6.In his message, Dr Abdullah said that the revered Sufi saint Hazrat Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah (RA) occupies a special place in the spiritual and cultural history of Jammu & Kashmir. “His teachings transcended religious, ethnic, and linguistic boundaries and continue to inspire generations with their timeless message of love, peace, and human dignity,” he said.The NC chief prayed for peace, prosperity, and communal harmony in the region and called upon people to participate in the Urs with devotion and reverence.
