Div Com, ADGP virtually inspect Amarnath Yatra preparations

Srinagar, June 27: The Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, and Additional Director General of Police, Vijay Kumar, conducted a visit to the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) located at HMT Srinagar.
The purpose of their visit was to assess the efficacy of the virtual monitoring system and evaluate the functioning of the ICCC, as well as oversee the preparations for the upcoming ShriAmarnathJiYatra through virtual means.
Accompanied by several dignitaries including DIG, Central Kashmir; DC Budgam; Director Health Services Kashmir; Incharge ICCC; Incharge Divisional Control Room; officers of traffic police, R&B, SSCL, SMC, and representatives from various other departments, the high-ranking officials gathered at the ICCC to conduct the inspection.
During the virtual tour of the ShriAmarnathJiYatra, the officers meticulously examined the facilities at all the base camps and routes, monitoring the ongoing activities at each location. In order to ensure seamless coordination, the Div Com instructed Smart City Officers to concurrently manage a dashboard alongside the monitoring of camera feeds.
The Divisional Commissioner took the opportunity to interact with the officers and officials from all departments who had been assigned the task of overseeing and monitoring the activities pertaining to their respective departments.
The visit by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri and Additional Director General of Police Vijay Kumar demonstrated the importance placed on ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated ShriAmarnathJiYatra. By utilizing the advanced capabilities of the Integrated Command and Control Centre and implementing virtual monitoring systems, the authorities aim to guarantee the safety and security of all participants throughout the pilgrimage.
The officials expressed their satisfaction with the preparations observed during the virtual tour and emphasized the significance of collaboration among various departments to ensure a successful and memorable ShriAmarnathJiYatra.
