SRINAGAR: In a remarkable achievement, Muzamil Shakeel Beigh, a deaf and mute student hailing from the scenic village of Kralweth Kunzer in the world-famous tourist destination of Gulmarg, has successfully passed his 10th-grade examinations, securing an impressive 287 marks.
Beigh’s accomplishment makes him one of the specially-abled students from the Kashmir Valley to qualify for the Class-10th examination but also serves as an inspiration to countless others facing similar challenges.
Despite his disabilities, Beigh has displayed a strong will to succeed. His aspiration to join the Indian Police Service (IPS) shows his resilience and determination to overcome obstacles and excel in life.
In an interview with a social media journalist, Beigh, using a combination of hints and signals, conveyed his profound joy and unwavering determination to succeed in life, while expressing his aspirations to join the IPS and make a significant impact in the future.
The credit for Beigh’s remarkable achievement goes to his dedicated teachers and the management of the Mohammadia Institute in Kunzer, Gulmarg. They have tirelessly nurtured him from his early school years up until his recent success in the class 10 examinations.
The teachers and management have played a crucial role in shaping Beigh’s dreams and providing him with the necessary support to accomplish them.
Beigh’s success has brought immense joy and pride to his family. His mother, Shabana Yousuf, expressed her overwhelming emotions upon learning of her child’s accomplishment. The proud mother’s eyes welled up with tears of joy, and she shared her hope for a bright future for her son, who has defied all odds.
His father, Shakeel Ahmad Beigh, expressed his immense pride in his son’s achievements and highlighted that his disabilities do not define his capabilities. Like any other parent, he wishes for his son to reach great heights and touch the stars.
The efforts to support Beigh’s dreams have not been limited to his immediate circle. Fayaz Ahmad Fayaz, the principal of the Government Higher Secondary School in Hazratbal, spoke about his emotional involvement in nurturing this exceptional student.
Fayaz expressed his commitment to providing Beigh with all the necessary support to help him realize his dreams.
Beigh’s extraordinary accomplishment serves as a testament to the indomitable spirit of individuals facing challenges in their pursuit of education and career aspirations.
His determination, along with the unwavering support of his teachers, family, and school administration, has paved the way for a brighter future, not just for Beigh himself but has lit a hope for countless other differently-abled students in the Kashmir valley.
Meanwhile, the Zonal Education Office Kunzer has congratulated Muzamil for achieving the feat and becoming an inspiration for others to chase their dreams.
“Muzamil has set an example for others by showing the way that nothing is impossible given the fact that one is determined to follow his dreams and work hard for them,” the ZEO said.
