DCC Jammu-Uban to organise agitation programs against price rise, unemployment

Jammu, Nov 03: District Congress Committee Jammu Urban, Thursday, held a meeting at PCC HQ Shahidi Chowk Jammu.
A statement from the party said that the meeting was chaired by the working-president JKPCC Raman Bhalla.
It was decided that various agitation programs will be organized by Congress in Jammu Urban District, as part of Congress Party’s campaign against price rise, unemployment and other exploitative and harmful policies of the Government.
During the meeting, Bhalla discussed some major points pertaining to some of the upcoming programs of the Congress party in the district.
He directed the ward presidents and block heads to depute booth wise members in their respective areas for the ongoing enrolment of new voters.
He discussed the special revision of electoral rolls in all parliamentary and assembly constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir which is currently happening and its implementation.
Raman Bhalla, in his speech highlighted the alleged failures of the BJP government and said that unlike other states in India, J&K now lacks the protection and autonomy that can be provided by a state government.
Bhalla also highlighted the strategic measures which will be adopted by the DCC members to create awareness of BJP’s policies.
