DC tours Marh, Akhnoor subdivisions

Jammu, Aug 18: Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Rakesh Minhas, Monday visited subdivisions of Marh and Akhnoor and held meetings with revenue officials.A statement issued here said that in Marh, he reviewed the functioning of the Revenue Department with SDM Athar Amin and Tehsildar Ram Krishan Rathore. He stressed timely delivery of services, strict adherence to PSGA guidelines and regular reviews to avoid delays. In Akhnoor, he held a similar review with SDM Mukhter Ahmed and Tehsildar Naresh Kumar, besides other revenue officials. The Deputy Commissioner instructed officers to identify developmental projects, prepare proposals and ensure their timely execution and delivery. He also inspected Jia Pota Ghat, highlighting its potential for development, and reviewed progress on the under-construction municipal complex in Akhnoor subdivision.
