Deputy Commissioner Reasi Vishesh Mahajan today chaired a meeting to evaluate the status of the health services in the district.
Central to the discussions were strategies for the fortification of Primary Health Centers and Community Health Centers.
The DC Reasi took a detailed review of achievements under health sector schemes, functioning of health institutions, infrastructure up-gradation and the healthcare facilities being extended to the patients. He also reviewed progress under Ayushman Bharat, PMJAY SEHAT, and Vacancy position of all categories, Routine Immunization Programme, NCD Programme and National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP).
Addressing the meeting, the DC stressed upon the officers to work with utmost dedication and honesty adding that the people have direct concern with the health facilities being the most sensitive sector.
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) was asked to provide comprehensive details about all Primary Health Centers (PHC) and Community Health Centers (CHC) operating in the district. He was further directed to conduct a thorough health survey of every household in the district. This survey will assess different medical issues and provide valuable insights into the healthcare needs of residents.
