DC Ganderbal reviews progress of projects of Health Department

 The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today presided over a crucial meeting at V.C Room, here to assess the advancement of construction projects within the Health Department in the district here.

The comprehensive review encompassed ongoing projects such as NTPHC Gutlibagh, NTPHC Wangath, PHC Kullan, PHC Lar, MCH Kangan, HSC Theeru, HSC Butakullan, SC Kachpathrie, SC Naranagh, and additional accommodation for PHC Wakura and PHC Batwina, among others.

During the evaluation of physical progress, the DC directed the Executing agencies and Block Medical Officers (BMOs) to conduct mandatory visits to construction sites, ensuring a thorough examination of ongoing work and vigilant progress monitoring.

The DC also scrutinized the procurement status of machinery and equipment, as well as the installation of essential medical electronic devices in various health institutions.

Addressing the gathering, the DC emphasized the timely completion of construction work at all designated sites, setting fixed timelines for each project. He urged all executing agencies to accelerate construction efforts, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines.

The DC affirmed his commitment to the efficient and timely execution of health infrastructure projects, underscoring the significance of these initiatives in enhancing healthcare facilities within the district.

The meeting was attended by SE, R&B Division Ganderbal; Executive Engineer R&B, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, MS SDH Kangan; Block Medical Officers (BMOs), officials from the JK Housing Board, and other concerned authorities.
