DC Budgam chairs block diwas at panchayat halqa Ichgam

Budgam, June 14: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo on Wednesday said that as many as 70 major works have been approved under district Capex for Panchayat Halqa of Block Budgam.
DC said this while chairing a Block Diwas program at Panchayat Halqa Ichgam.
He said that major works approved include development of playground, construction of 63 KV Sub- Station including HT and LT lines near PHC, development of graveyard at Ganai Mohallah, tile works on around 20 number of inner lanes, protection works besides lane and drain works.
The DC said work on these projects shall be carried out in a swift and timely manner and shall be completed within the stipulated time frame for the convenience of the general public.
During Block Diwas, local PRIs including BDC Chairman Budgam, Ghulam Hassan Khan, respected elders and local youth delegations from villages Ichgam, Naroo, Qazibagh and other adjacent villages who participated, raised their demands with the DC.
The DC said that all other genuine demands shall be taken up and discussed with all the concerned departments and speedy disposal will be ensured for those demands too.
Labroo urged local PRIs and others to cooperate with the District Administration for the speedy completion of these approved projects for public benefit.
He reiterated that the District Administration is committed to ensure robust development and better facility creation in all rural as well as urban areas of the district.
He called for prompt redressal of public issues to ensure better service delivery to people.
Among others, ADDC Budgam, Dr. Akhramullah Tak; ACR, ACD, ACP, Executive Engineers of all wings, BDO and all District and sectoral officers, officials were present on the occasion.
