In a tragic incident, five members of a family from Gingle, Uri, including a couple and their three children, died yesterday due to suffocation in their rented accommodation in the Pandrathan area of Srinagar district.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of the family. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the grieving family and assured that the district administration would provide all possible support to the affected family during this difficult time.

Minga Sherpa urged residents to take necessary precautions during the winter season, especially while using heating appliances. He emphasized the importance of maintaining proper ventilation to prevent such unfortunate tragedies.
