Srinagar, Aug 09: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo will chair a high-level review meeting on August 13 to take stock of government vacancies, pending recruitment cases, and promotion processes across departments.As per the meeting notice, a copy of which lies with Rising Kashmir, the meeting will be held at 5 pm in the Committee Room of the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar. Officers posted in Jammu will join through video conferencing from the Secretariat’s second-floor meeting hall.The review will focus on multiple issues, including the status of vacancies referred to the J&K Public Service Commission (JKPSC) and the J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB), the position of unadvertised posts, and pending selections awaiting clarifications from indenting departments.The meeting will also review pending Regular Departmental Action (RDA) cases, Departmental Promotion Committees (DPCs), and cases under the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme (RAS) and SRO-43.Those invited to attend the meeting include all Administrative Secretaries, the Chairman and Secretary of the JKSSB, and the Secretary of the JKPSC.The GAD has instructed all Administrative Secretaries to present updated details of vacancies available in their respective departments that are fit for referral to recruiting agencies. The information must be prepared in the prescribed formats and shared with the GAD by or before August 12.Departments have also been asked to submit data on the status of DPCs in formats C and D for discussion during the meeting.
