Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo today held the introductory review of the Industries and Commerce Department to take stock of its working and implementation of the Industrial Policy here in the UT.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner Secretary, Industries & Commerce (I&C); Secretary in I&C; Managing Directors of the allied Corporations besides HoDs of I&C from both the Divisions of the UT.
In the meeting Dulloo impressed upon the Department to create a formal mechanism for highlighting and resolution of the concerns of Industrialists. He advised to hold periodic sittings of the forum in both the divisions. The objective of the forum should be to advocate and further the interests of stakeholders in the Industrial sector.
