CRPF organizes lecture on TB & Kidney Disease Prevention in Srinagar

A lecture on the Prevention and Control of Tuberculosis (TB) and Kidney Disease was organized under the aegis of the Regional CRPF Wives Association (RCWA), Group Centre (GC), CRPF, Srinagar.

Dr Shafat Ahmad Keenu, HOD Emergency Medicine and Dr. Hilal Ahmad Malla, Nephrologist delivered the lecuture.

At the outset, Rajesh Kumar, DIG, GC, CRPF Srinagar welcomed both the distinguished speakers by presenting bouquet to them.

Dr Hilal Ahmad, Nephrologist delivered a very informative lecture on the Kidney diseases regarding metabolic illness, dietary precautions and clearing many doubts and myths regarding dialysis.

Dr. Shafat Ahmad Keenu, HOD emergency presented wonderful demonstration of CPR showing very clear cut simple techniques as how to perform effective CPR.

Approximately, 165 family members and force personnel residing inside the campus as well as first aide course trained personnel have attended the CPR and some of them were called on the stage to perform CPR on mannequin themselves. Smt. Sangeeta Kumar, President RCWA, GC, Srinagar has presented mementos to Dr Shafat Ahmad Keenu, HOD Emergency Medicine, Dr. Hilal Ahmad Malla, Nephrologist. The lecuture was concluded with the vote of thanks given by Dr. Annu Arya, Senior Medical Officer of this GC in the honour of above specialists.
