‘Corporator Eidgah joins PC’

Srinagar, May 09: Peoples Conference (PC) said that former Assistant Director Food and Supplies and Corporator from Eidgah Mohd Ashraf Bhat joined the party on Tuesday here.
Bhat joined the party in the presence of the PC president Sajad Gani Lone, a party statement issued here said, adding that provincial president Mohammad Khurshid Alam and provincial secretary Irfan Mattoo were also present on the occasion.
Lone extended a warm welcome to Mohd Ashraf Bhat and expressed his appreciation for his “outstanding track record in public service and his significant contributions to the community”. He said that Bhat brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the party.
“Mr Bhat’s decision to join the Peoples Conference is a testament to the party’s commitment to promoting social justice, equality, and inclusivity in Jammu and Kashmir. His experience in public service and expertise in activism will undoubtedly prove valuable in the party’s efforts to strengthen democracy and ensure that the voices of the people are heard,” Lone said.
Expressing his delight in joining the Peoples Conference, Bhat said, “I am honored to become a part of the People’s Conference, a party renowned for its inclusive and progressive approach. I am confident that together we can work towards transforming our society into a more equitable and prosperous one.”
