Consolidate BJP’s base in Kashmir: Sat Sharma to party leaders, workers

Ashok Koul calls for addressing public concerns effectively

Srinagar, May 01: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, held a crucial organisational meeting at its Kashmir Head Office here to review party functioning and strengthen its presence across the region.
Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP, accompanied by Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organisation), Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal, General Secretary, J&K BJP, Vibodh Gupta, General Secretary, J&K BJP, Sofi Yousuf, Vice President and Dr Ali Mohammad Mir, senior leader addressed the meeting. BJP District Presidents, District Prabharis and senior leaders from across the valley attended the meeting.
Sat Sharma, in his address, emphasised the party’s unwavering commitment to the development, peace, and inclusive progress of Jammu and Kashmir. He encouraged party leaders to maintain constant connection with the people, remain accessible to the grassroots, and work diligently for the upliftment of every section of society.
Sharma said the BJP has a clear roadmap for J&K’s progress, and the party cadre must serve as its strong pillars on the ground. He called for a collective commitment to consolidate the BJP’s base in Kashmir, ensuring a visible presence, delivering at the grassroots, and taking forward the party’s mission of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”.
Ashok Koul conducted a detailed review of district-level functioning. He laid special emphasis on strengthening booth-level structures, addressing public concerns effectively, and ensuring that the achievements of the BJP-led government are conveyed widely to the people of Kashmir.
Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal highlighted the importance of strong organisational discipline, collective efforts, and responsive leadership in the party cadre.
Vibodh Gupta laid stress on the party’s dedication to grassroots-level engagement of the masses and the 2-way interaction between the masses and the party.
District Presidents and Prabharis presented detailed updates from their areas regarding organizational tasks, ongoing political activities, and public expectations. The senior leadership assured full support in resolving all field-level issues through coordination and structured planning.
