Jammu, Feb 08: Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari Wednesday said that the authorities have failed to provide basic amenities in Chenab Valley.
He was addressing a meeting which was organized by Provincial President, Legal Cell, Vikram Rathore.
Bukhari said, “No one in administration gives heed to the growing public issues with regard to basic amenities in rural areas of Chenab Valley.”
He said the road connectivity is very poor, supply of clean drinking water in the remote areas is still a distant dream and the unscheduled power cuts have further added to the suffering of the rural population.
During the meeting, dozens of people joined the Apni Party in the presence of Altaf Bukhari. He welcomed the new entrants into the party and hoped that their joining would strengthen the party in Bhaderwah.
He listened to the issues of the people belonging to Bhaderwah and other parts of Doda district and assured them all possible support for the redressal of public issues.
He said that “The equitable development is possible in all the regions of J&K when there is an elected Govt in place of a bureaucratic rule. The bureaucratic rule is not answerable to the people of J&K, but an elected Govt is answerable to the people.”
Bukhari said “the democratically elected Govt is able to pull up the bureaucracy to ensure the development and implementation of public welfare schemes on ground even in remote and far-flung villages of Jammu and Kashmir irrespective of any kind of disparity.”
Referring to the issue of unprecedented unemployment, underdevelopment, poor health and educational infrastructure, he said JK can witness prosperity when the people of two regions will be treated equally and a peaceful atmosphere is provided to them. “The Apni Party believes in telling the truth to the people. We are committed to the public welfare and our aim is to keep J&K united.”
