BJP workers  from remote areas of Kashmir Division gathered today at the BJP Head Office, J-53 Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar, to celebrate the passage of the Waqf Amendment Bill in Parliament.

The event, held under the leadership of Choudhary Roshan Hussain, State President of BJP ST Morcha, marked a momentous occasion.

The Waqf Amendment Bill, which aims to improve the management of Waqf properties, also includes a crucial provision under Sections 5 and 6, granting special land rights to tribal people. This provision is seen as a historic step towards empowering  community, ensuring their rightful claim over land, and strengthening their socio-economic standing.

Expressing their gratitude, the BJP workers extended special thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for their unwavering commitment to tribal welfare and land rights. To commemorate this milestone, the community members distributed sweets, symbolizing their happiness and appreciation for this landmark achievement.

Speaking on the occasion, Choudhary Roshan Hussain highlighted the BJP government’s efforts in uplifting communities, stating: “The passage of this bill is a testament to the government’s dedication to the rights and welfare of people.

This reform will bring justice to many and ensure a better future for the community.”

The celebration at the BJP office reflected the deep impact of this legislation on the lives of people in Jammu and Kashmir, further strengthening their trust in the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and the BJP Government.
