Srinagar Jan 03: Bhartiya Janta Party on Tuesday organised a public interaction programme in Srinagar to listen to the public grievances.
Party spokesperson said the BJP’s Daily Wagers and Casual Workers Issues redressal Committeeled by Shamlal Sharma listened to the public grievances at Church Lane Srinagar. The former minister Sharma was accompanied by Former Minister Member Committee Shakti Parihar, Former MLA Member Committee Balwant Sìngh Mankotia, Former Minister Member Committee Shamlal Chowdary, Former Abhinav Sharma senior Adv Spokesperson, BJP’s Media Incharge Manzoor Bhat , District President Srinagar Ashok Bhat.
According to the party statement, visiting people and deputations including JK Casual Labourers, JKPCC Daily wagers, Land Donors and Paramedical and Casual Labourers presented their issues in front of party leaders.
They informed that due to pending salaries, their families were facing starvation. “We are unable to pay the school fee of our children and are even facing hardships to procure medicines of our daily need,” they complained.
“The Various issues represented contained matters of individual concerns as well as development-oriented related to their respective areas. Visiting deputations and individuals shared their concerns,” spokesperson added.
Speaking on the occasion, Shamlal Sharma said they have sincerely tried to give reasonable solutions to the issues projected while taking immediate steps wherever needed by talking to concerned authorities. BJP is concerned with the common masses and their issues, “he said.
