Jammu, Mar 03: To give the mantra of ‘Booth Jeeta Chunav Jeeta’ to its workers, the J&K BJP has decided to form booth level committees in all the ninety (90) assembly segments of J&K UT to reach out to each and every voter under the ‘Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan’, the task assigned by the party command, party sources informed.
The booth level committees will be constituted in all the polling booths of ninety (90) assembly segments of J&K,” BJP J&K UT Secretary, Dr Pardeep Mahotra informed when contacted by Rising Kashmir.
“In some polling booths, the committees are there but they will be strengthened further so that each and every voter of that particular booth is reached out and made aware about party’s programmes, achievements welfare schemes”.
The party sources informed that BJP has devised a well thought out strategy as per which the members of every section of the society will be part of the booth level committees.
Each booth level committee will comprise of 15 to 20 dedicated workers,” party sources informed adding, “While constituting the committees, it will be made sure that members of all sections of the society are there in each committee like SCs, OBCs, BPL, STs etc.”
This, they said, will give space to each section of the society and will also help the party in reaching out to each and every voter of each polling booth of all the 90 assembly segments.
The booth level committees will gather every detail regarding people’s aspirations, development needs, day to day problems of people, beneficiaries of welfare schemes etc.
A report will be compiled and submitted to the party high command, sources informed. Apart from this, the members of booth level committees will reach out to each and every voter and ensure they turn up for voting both in the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, they informed.
In this regard, the training of the members of booth level committees will soon be held by the BJP after the committees are constituted.
