Jammu, April 13: Bharatiya Kala Sangam (BKS) Sunday organised a dynamic audio-visual programme on Art and Culture at the Luthra Academy, Kachi Chowni, Jammu, supported by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The event, which attracted a large number of school students, aimed to deepen their understanding of traditional Dogra culture.
The programme was graced by Rajiv Luthra, Principal of the Academy, as the Chief Guest, alongside notable figures including T.R. Sharma, JKAS (Retd), Chairman of BKS, Ramesh Singh Chib, Director of Bharatiya Kala Sangam, and other dignitaries.
In his speech, T.R. Sharma acknowledged the Ministry of Culture’s efforts to promote Dogra heritage through multimedia platforms, ensuring that the younger generation stays connected to their cultural roots. He expressed gratitude to the Ministry for supporting this initiative, which aims to foster respect and interest in the Dogra culture among youth, ensuring its preservation for future generations. Rajiv Luthra, the Principal, praised the efforts of BKS for organising such a vibrant and educational event.
