Rajouri, March 13: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) Rajouri organized a painting competition on the “Rang-e-Bahar” theme as part of various events being organized by the university to generate awareness about India’s G20 Presidency. The event was organized by the Cultural and Literary Club of the university.
Students from various departments of the university participated in the painting competition. In their paintings, they depicted their creative thoughts about the rich cultural diversity of India, its beautiful landscapes and its rich cultural heritage.
Prof. Akbar Masood, Vice Chancellor of the University said, “BGSB University is taking all the initiatives to create awareness about India’s G20 Presidency among the students. The enthusiastic participation of students in the painting competition shows how the University is taking the theme of India’s G20 presidency closer to the students”.
Prof. Akbar lauded the efforts of the Cultural and literary Club of the university for organizing the event and congratulated the students for mesmerizing creativity. Those who were present on the occasion included Dr. Danish Iqbal Raina, Convener, of the Cultural and literary Club, Dr. Mamta Bhat, a member of the Club, and Dr. Shehnaz Assistant Professor of the Department of Zoology.
