Ayushman Bhava Campaign launched in sub-division Kangan

Ganderbal, Sep 13: President Droupadi Murmu unveiled the visionary ‘Ayushman Bhavaa’ campaign during a historic event on Wednesday, marking a significant step towards improving healthcare access and inclusivity nationwide. This momentous start was achieved through a virtual event, demonstrating a major stride towards realizing universal health coverage (UHC) and healthcare for all.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, as well as Union Ministers of State for Health and Family Welfare, along with various Members of Parliament and senior officials from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Governors, Chief Ministers, State Ministers, and their respective officials from various sectors were invited to actively participate, representing states and union territories across the nation.
Simultaneously, an inauguration event took place at the Sub-District Hospital Kangan, in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district where DDC Kangan Tasmeena Adil Kapra and Sub-District Magistrate Kangan Javid Ahmad jointly initiated proceedings. The ceremony saw the attendance of Medical Superintendent Dr Salma Bhat, DDC Kangan Tasmina Adil Kapra, SDM Kangan Javed Ahmed, as well as other health department officials, Army personnel, and school students.
Additionally, at PHC Sonmarg, the ‘Ayush Man Bharat Bhava’ program was inaugurated by Sarpanch Sonamarg. The opening ceremony was attended not only by medical professionals and healthcare workers from PHC Sonmarg but also by individuals associated with Beopar Mandal Sonmarg, collectively reinforcing the campaign’s significance and reach.
