Srinagar, Jul 23: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir General Secretary (Organisation), Ashok Koul on Wednesday interacted with the newly appointed office bearers of Kashmir Division at the party office here.Dr Shehnaz Ganai, J&K BJP Vice-President, Anwar Khan, General Secretary, Dr Darakshan Andrabi, Chairperson J&K Waqf Board, Mudassir Wani, Secretary, Arif Raja, Secretary, Adv Sajid Yousuf, Media Co-Incharge, Sajjad Raina Social Media Co-Incharge, Sartaj Majid, IT Co-Incharge, Bilal Parray, All Cell Co-Incharge participated in the meeting, the party said in a statement issued here.The meeting focused on strengthening organisational structure, enhancing grassroots connect, and aligning local leadership with the party’s core vision for Jammu & Kashmir.Koul extended his warm congratulations to the newly inducted team members and urged them to work with renewed energy and commitment. Addressing the gathering, he said, “The role of each office bearer is critical in transforming our vision for Kashmir into ground-level action. You are the face and force of the party at the grassroots, and your connection with the people will define the strength and future of BJP in the valley.”He called for proactive engagement with local communities and called upon the team to prioritise public service and issue-based politics. “Discipline, dedication, and dialogue must be our guiding principles. We must reach out to every household, understand the issues that matter to people, and present BJP as the true alternative that works for the welfare of all segments of society,” he said.The BJP leader highlighted the importance of team coordination and accountability in all organisational activities. He encouraged the newly appointed members to uphold the ideals of the party and ensure that every effort contributes towards building a peaceful, developed, and inclusive Kashmir.
