Leh, April 08: The Trishul Division of the Indian Army, stationed in Leh, came to the rescue of over 80 stranded individuals, including women and children, who were trapped in the unforgiving snowstorm at the towering Chang La pass in Ladakh.
Amid treacherous conditions, soldiers from the Fire and Fury Corps worked tirelessly for two hours to clear a traffic block caused by the sudden snowfall, ensuring the safety and well-being of those marooned at an altitude of 17,688 feet.
The swift and decisive action by the Army exemplifies their unwavering commitment to serving and protecting the people, even in the most challenging environments. Images and footage shared on social media by the corps offer a glimpse into the heroic efforts undertaken to bring relief to those in distress.
The Corps also wrote on “X” Soldiers of Trishul Division responded immediately to an emergent situation at icy heights of Chang La to clear a traffic block, working relentlessly for two hours in the night, and brought relief to almost 80 persons including ladies & children stuck amidst the snowfall.
