Baramulla, Nov 24: In a collaborative effort between the Indian Army and NGO Aseem Foundation, a transformative project has been successfully executed, bringing sustainable energy solutions to Gaggar Hill village in Boniyar Tehsil, located near the Line of Control (LOC) in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Under the supervision of the Torna Battalion, operating under the Pir Panjal Brigade, the initiative aims to improve the lives of local residents by equipping 16 households with solar lights and inverters.
An official said that this joint endeavor is a testament to the commitment of both military and civilian organizations to uplift communities and promote sustainable progress.
Harnessing the potential of solar energy not only addresses the critical need for reliable lighting in the region but also aligns with environmental sustainability goals.
