Jammu, Mar 04: The Apni Party on Monday held a meeting of its Manifesto Committee here and requested the people to send their suggestions to the party by March 10, 2024.
These suggestions can be emailed to the official email of the Apni Party i.e., [email protected] till March 10, 2024, so that they can be considered and made part of the manifesto of the party, it said in a statement.
To discuss the existing political scenario in Jammu and Kashmir, the Apni Party leaders including Vice President of the Party, Choudhary Zulfkar Ali, Vice President, Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, General Secretary of the Party, Vijay Bakaya – who was co-opted as a member, Provincial President of the Party, S. Manjit Singh and others met here in the party office, Gandhi Nagar.
In this meeting of the Manifesto Committee, the party leaders held a detailed discussion on various issues, especially the political situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the suffering of the people in the absence of an elected government post-August 5, 2019.
They also discussed the slow pace of development and the ignoring of certain areas in both regions.  “During the meeting, it was resolved that before the party frames its manifesto, it solicits suggestions from the desired and interested people. They can send their suggestions to the above-given email address of the Party,” Choudhary Zulfkar said.
After getting the suggestions, the Party’s Manifesto Committee will again meet on March 11, 2024, to finalize the draft of the manifesto for its further consideration following the discussion by the said Committee, the statement said.
