Jammu, Nov 18: Apni Party provincial president, Jammu, S. Manjit Singh on Monday demanded redressal of the grievances being raised by Safai Karam Chari in the Vijaypur area of Samba district.
As per a press release issued here, Singh raised serious concerns over sanitation and scattered garbage in Ramgarh and Vijaypur. “The Safari Karam Chari are holding protest demonstrations in support of their demand that needs a humanitarian view from the government and fulfill their genuine demand,” he said.
Manjit said the cleanliness situation is not good in the above-mentioned areas where garbage heaps can be seen scattered on the road and in residential areas. The collection and disposal are not being done in the wake of going on strike,” he said.
The Apni Party leader asked the government to reach out to the protesting Local Urban Body’s Safai Karam Chari and resolve the issue amicably.
