Altaf Bukhari greets people on annual Urs of Dastgeer Sahib (RA)

Srinagar, Nov 07: Apni Party (AP) President Syed Mohammad AltafBukhari Monday greeted people on the annual Urs of Peer Dastgeer Sheikh Syed Abdul QadirJeelani (RA) Sahib.
He paid glowing tributes to the Sufi saint and said that his teachings and spiritual power inspired millions of people to the path of truth and honesty.
In his message, Syed Mohammad AltafBukhari said, “Hazrat Sheikh Syed Abdul QadirJeelani (RA) has inspired millions of people and led them on the path of spirituality. He had dedicated his entire life to Islam and his teachings attracted people to Islam. He was a great reformist who bestowed selfless service to humankind and inspired people to live with truth and honesty.”
AltafBukhari appealed to people to pray for the peace of J&K during the annual Urs of Dastgeer Sahib. He said, “I request everyone to pray for peace and tranquility in Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Dastgeer Sahib’s Urs.”
He urged the Administration to ensure all the required arrangements for devotees during the Urs days.
