The All India Professionals’ Congress (AIPC) on Thursday announced a series of significant appointments in the state of Jammu and Kashmir as part of its commitment to enhancing leadership and professional engagement.
These appointments, made by Chairman Praveen Chakravarty, reflect AIPC’s dedication to empowering professionals and ensuring impactful leadership across diverse sectors, the body said in a statement issued here.
Neha has been appointed as the head of the Chartered Accountants (CA) vertical for Jammu and Kashmir. “With her extensive experience in the field of finance and auditing, Neha brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership capabilities to this position. Her appointment is expected to strengthen the involvement of chartered accountants in policy discussions and professional development initiatives within the region,” the AIPC said.
Dr Rubeena Bhatt has been appointed as the head of the Health Professionals’ vertical for Jammu and Kashmir. “A distinguished medical professional with years of service in healthcare, Dr Bhatt’s expertise will be invaluable in mobilizing healthcare professionals to contribute to policy advocacy, community health initiatives, and a stronger dialogue on healthcare challenges and solutions. Her leadership is anticipated to foster collaboration among health professionals and promote innovative health strategies in the region,” the statement said.
Aasif Umar has been appointed as the head of the Academia vertical for Jammu and Kashmir. “With a strong background in education and academic management, Aasif Umar is set to lead initiatives that will engage educators and academics in policy discussions, research, and educational development. His leadership aims to create a bridge between academic insights and policy frameworks, contributing to educational advancement and professional discourse in the state,” the AIPC said.
Sanjay Sapru, the J&K State head of AIPC, expressed his gratitude to Chairman Praveen Chakravarty for these appointments. He said, “I am deeply thankful to Praveen Chakravarty for recognising the potential of our professionals in Jammu and Kashmir and for these strategic appointments. These new leaders bring immense expertise and dedication that will undoubtedly drive the vision of AIPC forward and strengthen our professional community.”
These developments come as AIPC continues to expand its reach and influence among professionals nationwide, aiming to build a robust network of skilled individuals committed to contributing to public discourse and policy, according to the statement, which added, “The newly appointed heads are expected to take up their roles with immediate effect and will begin spearheading initiatives within their respective verticals to create impactful change.”
